HAIR: Not quite past his days of "long hippie hair", Augusts sleek, deep chestnut brown hair reaches nearly to the shoulder. Choppy in it's layers, it's clear that he hasn't had a haircut in quite a long time. When out and about, he will normally pull it back tight into a small ponytail that sticks out an inch or two away from his skull. Though sometimes, in colder weather and when he's in a "I'm-too-lazy-to-do-anything" mood, August leaves his hair down and pulls a beanie or a fisherman's cap over his head and faces the day. Thick sideburns adorn the outermost edges of his face, almost hinting to you that he may not be entirely human.
EYES: Bright, sky blue, his eyes twinkle with a feeling of adventure and unexpectedness. When you find yourself looking into these eyes, you find yourself looking into what you've never expected.
FACE: A high forehead only starts off this strong, intimidating face. Following it down, we'll find a strong, somewhat large roman nose. Prominent, always flaring nostrils can also give you a hint that his DNA isn't all human. High and wide-set cheekbones create a classic rusty look, and they're always rosy with the warmth of his good friend Captain Morgan. His lips, pale pink and thick, are commonly pursed with frustration and intense thought. Finally we settle on his jawline and chin, a near-perfect square if it weren't for his chin jutting out just a bit with a wide, downward slope. Overall it's a common face, but what sets this common face apart is his facial hair. Only appearing on his chin, it grows in a "w" shape, rising up in waves of stubble towards both cheeks.
BUILD: Standing at 6' 2", August isn't particularly tall, but among most he's one of the tallest. After having worked at computers and his typewriter all day long, August loves going out to various parks in the area and jogging, as well as heading to the gym and keeping up his physique. He may not be Mr. Universe, but can definitely bench his fair share of weight. Now at 245 lbs, August has wonderfully defined muscles, but rarely uses them to his advantage. He really only uses working out to look good and stay healthy, not to impress in a fist-fight. His body is what you would expect from any typical high-school runningback (though admittedly, he never played football in high school, he was always studying for various classes). But perhaps the best part of his body is his legs, slender and defined, they're reminiscent of David Beckham. August had always wondered why he had such a nice physique since honestly he never worked too hard on it, and only goes to the gym three times a week even now.
PERSON: For a long time, August has been quite resilient in his avoidance of other people. It's not that he doesn't like others, it's just not his forte. While you are an initial acquaintance, it will be common for him to only make passing comments, and never actually engage in conversation. Only after he's marked you as a worthy friend ("worthy" characteristics being funny, outgoing, the usual stuff) will he begin to make small talk. Those he really likes will be graced with long-term conversation. After spending long periods of time with August, you'll begin to notice things about him you hadn't before. Things like his uncanny ability to lighten any situation, or the way his laughter carries through a room. It's these little things that make up his strange charm, and it's these things that make him August. However there is a very rude side to this life-loving writer. For one thing, few people ever actually get to see the afore-mentioned, bubbly and fun side of him. He always has his guard up, and formalities are a must in addressing people. He is very old school with women, and likes the idea of courting. It allows him have relationships, but stay very hush about his life.
OTHER: He loves buttons. With almost any outfit, you'll find him wearing a coat that someone in 17th century France might have worn. He searches through thrift stores endlessly to try and satisfy his tastes, coming up with random vintage tees from the early sixties and many, many army jackets. Another thing people commonly don't know (because they commonly don't see), is the tattoo that resides on his left shoulder blade. The words "inescatur, impinguatur, dilatatur" are written in bold, old-english print. These latin words mean "the flesh is tempted by sensuality, gluttony clings to our senses". No one can really say why this means so much to him, even those closest to him are puzzled by the ink.
CREATURE FORM: Doberman. The former sentence (or rather statement) says it all, but Leucos is a slender, muscular, and very sleek Doberman whose eyes glitter in the sun and moonlight as he tramps around peoples lawns and other large grassy areas. Wearing nothing as he goes around town in this dog form, Leucos looks and acts as if he is a stray. Spending most of his time in the park as a dog, there isn't much that anyone can do. He tends not to bark or bite, but if you mess with him or try to take him home, there will be growling.

SHORT HISTORY: In most situations, Leucos will not say much about his past or his family. His life was not an easy or fulfilling one. Sent to a boys boarding school beginning right at Kindergarten, August rarely spent time amongst his family, which was all well and good with him. As a boy he was indifferent to the common feelings we have towards those closest to us. At 9, his parents divorced, leaving him alone with his dad during the summers and school breaks. His mother left for someone better, taking along with his two sisters. It wasn't as if August didn't see his mother, they just didn't live together. After her remarriage, August was then 11, he decided to move in with her and the new husband, hoping that this time it would be better. Again, he kept in touch with his father, but only to a "small talk" basis. Occasionally there would be phone calls and the kids would explain their current life situation, but no more than that.
At 16, August began writing for his schools newspaper. Every week he would publish a new chapter of a on-going short story. People loved it, and teachers raved about it in the halls when they saw him, complimenting him almost to the point of a visible explosion of his ego. It was then that his cold exterior slowly started melting away, letting his fellow students begin to see the fun and spontaneity that was August Parkens.
It was at the tender age of 19 that Leucos came into existence. August was out one night during the summer with some of his old classmates, because by that time they had graduated, and they decided to go clubbing. It was there that August brushed against the wrong guy, on the wrong night. His name was Patrick Oppenheim, and he was born Cani. Already wasted out of his mind, Patrick overreacted to the simple brush of the shoulder, and fiercely attacked August just moments after they decided to leave. Of course Oppenheim was in his creature form, so August thought nothing of it until four days later, when he began to notice a change in the color of his eyes, and the intensity of his senses. Ever since he has only been half himself, always aware of the beast within that is Leucos.
