Forks has always been your average, small town, only with a lot more rain and overcast days than any other place in the country. Everyone knows everyone and gossip runs amuck over the littlest thing at times. It's really hard to keep everyone out of your business, unless, of course, you're one of the Cullens... who just happen to be a coven of vampires. Yep, that's right. Vampires are real, and so are werewolves, for that matter, and they've been living right under our noses.
